The tiny country of Lesotho in Southern Africa is affectionately known as "The Kingdom in the Sky" or "The Mountain Kingdom".

The country consists of high mountain peaks and is home to the highest peak and highest single drop waterfall in Southern Africa. Lesotho is landlocked by South Africa and is one of only three countries in the world to be landlocked by a single country.

Life in Lesotho can be tough with harsh winters and basic living conditions but the Basotho people are the friendliest that you will find in the world and will welcome you with broad smiles and wonderful hospitality.
