Growing Nations was founded by Rev. August Basson, supported by his wife Anita and family. August is an AIM missionary from South Africa with the Lesotho Evangelical Church (LEC) and until recently has been based in Tebellong.
Growing Nations has built up a strong team of people in Tebellong who will continue to run the project here as Growing Nations sets up a new base in Maphutseng. At the new site the project will expand and new members will join the team in the coming months.
Growing Nations works closely with many organisations and has partnerships with many churches and individuals around the world. These include, The United Nations World Food Programme and Food and Agriculture Organization, Government of Lesotho, National University of Lesotho, University of Tennessee, AIM and Supporting churches in South Africa and the UK.
