The Conservation Agriculture (CA) farming techniques taught by Growing Nations promote zero till planting. These methods reduce soil erosion, mainly caused through ploughing, improve soil structure and fertility and increase crop yields.
CA farmers have produced fantastic results with crop yields between 2-6 tonnes/ha in different locations. This compares to a national average yield of 0.2-0.4 tonnes/ha.
